Mike and Valerie were both born and raised in Texas. Mike received his undergraduate degree at The University of Texas and his MBA at Sam Houston State. Valerie is an accomplished artist and worked as a picture framer before moving to France.

They both have the gift of hospitality and truly enjoy watching their guests enjoy their stay at the manor (see testimonials). They are involved in the local community and Mike plays in a street band known as a fanfare in France and Valerie is part of an art group that meets weekly.
